12th International Symposium on
Plant Protein Phosphorylation

September 14-16, 2011, Tübingen, Germany

We cordially invite you to participate in the 12th International Symposium on Plant Protein Phosphorylation, to be held on September 14th-16th, 2011, at the campus of the University of Tübingen, Germany. The symposium will include seminar and poster sessions.

The primary objective of this meeting is to present the highlights and latest advances in the field of protein phosphorylation in plants. The first Symposium on Plant Protein Phosphorylation was organized by Dr. Douglas D. Randall and the Interdisciplinary Plant Group (IPG) at the University of Missouri (MU), Columbia, in 1990. This meeting is traditionally held on a triennial basis at the MU. Additional meetings have taken place at international locations: in Great Britain (1994), France (1997), Austria (2001), and Japan (2005). This year, we are delighted to host this event, which is currently the foremost meeting in the field of plant protein phosphorylation. We would like to bring together scientists working in this exciting field and especially encourage younger scientists (PhD students and Postdocs) to participate. Seminars and posters sessions will stimulate exchange of ideas, discussions, and development of future research topics.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tübingen!
